Project One Final Submission
Villa Sovaye

I study the program of Le Corbusier's Villa Sovaye through the 3 aspects of richness of materials, private & public spaces and also the circulation of the house.

Site Plan & Elevation

I started to study from the site plan, which map the relationship between house and landscape. The house is in the centre of the site surrounded by trees and uesd pure white corlor contrast with green landscape Specially the ground level maids's living area, laundry and utility rooms which are painted in green in the outside hide in the green landscape and floating the upper level in the landscape, which showing in elevations

The circulation of the house:the ramp and the spiral staircase

The are two circulation paths for the house allows people to move through space smoothly and experience the space in different motions and time.The ramp being placed symmetrically middle of the house as the major circulation and reinforced the idea of "moving through machine". The ramp provides a horizontal progression through the house and slow movement to visit the surroundings. It is open and public movement to connect floors through the louvres get different lighting shadow in different time.

The Bridge:

This bridge is design for connecting two headquarters for Coca-Cola and Facebook.The design of the linear represent direct and fast, as circular water surrounded by a wave of graphics curve bridge body, symbolize both the power water jet out of Coca-Cola, is also a symbol of network lines of facebook extend in all directions.

The elevator of Coca-Cola in the design, I consider using droplets dropped from the bridge. To coincide with a coke architectural forms and wave modelling bridge.

Facebook elevator is a simple and clear sign "f", from the roof rotating drops to meeting place.

Dining table:

Red and blue are the base color of two companies, tai chi graphics symbolizes the harmony consistent.

Qutang Gorge

Qutang Gorge, the shortest of the Three Gorges, is considered the most dramatic one by many visitors.
The river navigates through the gorge's sheer, steep cliffs where the Meng Liang staircase from the Song Dynasty can be seen. It starts at the White Emperor City in the west and ending at Daxi Stream in the east with a distance of 8 kilometers.

Here the width of the river is reduced to 100-200 meters and the narrowest places are no more than a few dozen metros while the principal peaks on the banks are as high as 1,000-1,500 meters. The turbulent waters flowing in the deep gorge along a continuous line of peaks make a most magnificent picture. The rolling and roaring river bursts through the rock gate that towers over the water

Shares in the company got an immediate boost, roughly 100 times its 2011 earnings. By comparison, through its two wholly-owned labels Rockstar Games and 2K at roughly 20 times last year's earnings. The Company’s common stock is publicly traded on upbeat growth assessments, which might support the notion that the price was high. However, stock gained 3.3 per cent in early trade before closing up 14¢ increased only 45% for the first quarter of this year.
